Philosophy and Mission

Our mission at La Ventana Treatment Programs is to provide excellent care at an affordable cost. We understand the nature of eating disorders and of drug and alcohol addiction and how devastating they can be for families and individuals struggling to recover. Therefore, we have developed several different programs that are often covered by insurance or our competitive loan program, to aid the healing process. La Ventana is dedicated to education and the treatment for eating disorders and drug and alcohol addiction and is passionate about our clients’ success in our program.

La Ventana’s individualized approach fosters and explores all aspects of the individual’s life in a safe and supportive environment. We do not place our focus on the symptoms; rather, we provide guidance, educational sessions and family counseling to help our clients get on the path to recovery.

La Ventana’s founder, Steve Zamarripa, opened the treatment programs center for one simple reason – To Help Others. His mother suffered from an eating disorder most of her life and this caused her to leave this world at an early age. Steve wanted to set up a facility where others who are affected by eating disorders or drug and alcohol addiction could come for help and move into a healthy lifestyle. The staff of La Ventana is professional with many of our therapists having suffered from eating disorders or drug and alcohol addiction themselves. Our supported living residents assist our patients with their struggle as they live with others suffering from these diseases. Our PHP and IOP programs are created for interaction with others suffering and this interaction is helpful through support and compassion. We understand the issue and we are here to help you move back into society with positive choices about your health, mental outlook, and your view on life.
